We live about two hours away from my children & Grandchildren, too. Yes, I agree this winter & spring was very cold & nasty. We usually go there, since I do not want them on the road with the little ones.
They live 2 hrs. away, which doesn't sound like much. But, with the weather this winter & having car trouble, with both of our cars, we didn't see them for 3 months. They didn't travel either, during the snow & ice. So, we finally saw them a couple of weeks ago, up there. The baby doesn't really know us, which makes me sad. We haven't been with her as much, as were with the oldest. Love being with them, but they wear me out! lol I usually have to take a nap, when we or they leave.
