I Used The Microwave To Melt The Choco Chips. It Worked Great. Mixed The Peanut Butter And Crushed Peanuts Into The Chocolate And Spread It On Top Of The Cherry Mixture. Back In The Fridge. 1/14/13

After The Mixture Boiled For 5 Minutes (marshmallows Melted), I Took It Off Of The Heat, Added The Cherry Chips And The Vanilla. Mixed Well. Put In A Buttered, Foil-lined 9x13 Pan And Put In Fridge. 1/14/13

Thanks Cin. I will check for the chips at Walmart...my hubby loves cherry so I thought it would be fun to surprise him with some of these for Valentines Day.

I read your notes (good thing you mentioned the note) I totally missed it... I was so darn excited about the goodness that was starring at me in the photo. :))

Hi Dawn...around here the grocery stores only carry the Log House Premium Quality Cherry Flavored Morsels at Valentine and Christmas times.
I do not know why, as it is a perfect candy year round.
When they get them in I buy 4 or 5 bags to have them when I want them.

However, I do (at the bottom of my directions) have a way of achieving this if you can not find the chips called for. Read the P.S.'s and notes.

OMG! I just found this recipe! Perfect for Valentines Day too! Does Walmart carry the cherry chip year round? Hoping so.
I have never heard of cherry chips nor this candy.... what can I say?? I need to get out more LOL!

Rosie Gal...I was at Wal Mart today and they have the Log House Premium Quality Cherry Flavored Morsels (chips) in.
They had one case in...there were only 4 bags left and I bought all 4 bags. Do you want 2-bags or just 1 ???
They were $1.98 (plus tas) a bag.
