¾ cup deglet noor dates ((if you use Medjool dates, you might want to scale down to half the amount because they are sweeter))
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp pure vanilla extract ((optional))
¼ tsp ground cardamom ((optional))
⅛ tsp salt ((pink salt or sea salt preferred))
