4 1/4 to 4 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Vegetable oil
1 cup jelly or preserves (plum, apricot or raspberry)
