1/2 C. chopped green pepper
1/2 C. chopped onion
1 1/3 C. quick cooking rice
1/4 C. butter (or margarine) melted
1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules
1 1/4 C. hot water
2 C. frozen Italian Sauce*
1 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 C. frozen Stew Meat Mix*
1/2 C. shredded cheddar (or Monterrey Jack cheese)

Directions Step-By-Step

In a skillet, cook green pepper, onion, and rice in butter (or margarine), stirring constantly, until rice is lightly browned. In a small mixing bowl, dissolve beef bouillon granules in hot water ; pour into rice mixture in skillet along with the Italian Sauce, chili powder, and Stew Meat Mix. Cover and cook, stirring frequently, until sauce and meat are thawed and heated and rice is tender, 10 to 12 minutes.
