1 cup butter (softened, real butter not margarine)
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted, then measured correctly)
3.4 ounces chocolate fudge instant pudding
¾ cup dutch process cocoa (Hershey's Special Dark like this)
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
5 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon pure almond extract
8 ounces sour cream (full fat, not reduced-fat or light)
1 cup dark chocolate chips
⅓ cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons corn syrup
¼ teaspoon almond extract (or vanilla extract)
