Ingredients

2-3 qt
water
4 can(s)
organic white beans with juice
6 large
carrots, sliced
1 1/2 lb
new potatoes, washed and sliced
1 large
onion, chopped
3/4 stick
butter
1 pt
heavy cream or milk
1 qt
chicken stock
1/2 lb
ham, chopped
salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Step-By-Step

1In a large pot, add all of the ingredients in any order and cook until all veggies are tender. Stir frequently to prevent scorching of the milk or cream. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
2Serve with fresh bread and salad. Makes a lovely meal and leftovers may be frozen if you like.
