Quick & Easy Vegetable Beef Stew

This was my mom's recipe which originally called for 1 lb lean stew meat instead of Tasso (cut in 1/2" pieces and brown before adding). Quick and easy staple meal for the chilly evenings. Serve with Whole Wheat Crackers or Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

savoie's real cajun hickory smoked tasso pork
8 oz
tomato sauce (can)
14 1/2 oz
stewed tomatoes (can)
29 oz
veg-allĀ® homestyle large cut vegetables (can)
14 1/2 oz
whole kernel corn (can)

Directions Step-By-Step

Cut meat into thin slices.
Combine all ingredients in pot including liquids from cans.

Bring to a boil (takes about 5 mins)
Reduce heat, simmer on low for 30 minutes.
