Ingredients

2 can(s)
black eyed peas, undrained
2 can(s)
rotel tomatoes, undrained
1 lb
hamburger meat, browned and drained
1 pkg
frozen seasoned mix (picsweet)
3 Tbsp
margarine
16 oz
frozen vegetable gumbo mix
1 clove
garlic, minced
2 tsp
louisiana hot sauce
1 can(s)
chicken broth
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Saute the picsweet mix in margarine until tender. Add garlic, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.

2Stir in browned hamburger meat.

3Add chicken broth and tomatoes.

4Add gumbo mix and stir until all is mixted well.

5Add rotel tomatoes and black eyed peas. Stir well and cook until bubbling. Serve over hot cooked rice.
