Baked Potato Soup

1 1/2 c
white gravy mix
7 c
1 lb
package frozen hash browns
8 slice
bacon, fried & crumbled
1/2 c
green onions, chopped & sauteed
1 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine white gravy mix with 1 cup of slightly warm water. Mix with a wire whip until blended. Set aside.
In a large pan combine 6 cups water with 1 pound of hash browns. Bring to a full boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes before adding gravy mixture.
Add gravy mixture to boiling potatoes stirring vigorously. Continue stirring until it thickens, about 1 minute.
Reduce heat and stir in sauteed onion, bacon and shredded cheese. You can garnish with sour cream.
