Ground Turkey Soup
My family loves this soup and the best part about it is that it's so easy - you can make it ahead in the Crock-Pot or you can make it on the stove top.

1Stovetop directions: Brown turkey and onions in skillet. Meanwhile, in a stockpot, combine stock, vegetables, salt, pepper and bay leaves and bring to a boil; add turkey and onions mixture (once browned), bay leaves and barley. Simmer covered for 30-35 minutes on low-medium heat.
2Slow cooker directions: Brown turkey and onions in skillet. In a slow cooker, combine stock, vegetables, spices and turkey and onions mixture. Cook 7-8 hours on low. Add barley 30-45 minutes before serving.
