Cold Weather Soup

I came up with this concoction on a cold day! Just wanted something warm to eat after being sick.

campbell chicken noodle soup
1 can(s)
cabbage, seasoned
1 can(s)
field peas with snaps - drained
4 dash(es)
minced onion
3 dash(es)
garlic powder
2 dash(es)
celery salt
salt and pepper to taste


1Prepare the chicken noodle soup according to the label. Add the black eyed peas & cabbage to the soup. Also add the minced onion, garlic powder & celery salt.
2Let simmer, giving all the ingredients time to blend together.
3I just added what I wanted to eat at that time! You could add a can of diced tomatoes if you'd like. I was afraid at the time it would burn my throat so I didn't put them in.
