Easy Potato Soup

- chicken base (i use tones)
- 2 pkg
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 bag(s)
- 30 oz. shredded hash browns
1Add 7 cups of water and 2 Tablespoons of Chicken base to a large pot. Bring to a boil.
2Cut both packages of cream cheese into small pieces. Drop pieces in boiling water and allow enough time for them to dissolve.
3Dump 1 bag of shredded hash browns into the boiling mixture. Boil while stirring occasionally until potatoes are tender.
4Season with pepper, shredded cheese, bacon bits or green onions (optional)
My family enjoys this soup with diced ham added too.
