Creamy Noodle Soup

Growing up we didn't have a lot of money and we had a big family. My mom use to make this soup for us for lunch. It is easy and we usually always had the ingredients on hand.

Ingredients

1 large
onion diced
2 c
thin egg noodles
3 c
milk
2 c
heavy cream
2
knorr's homestyle chicken bouillon
1/2 stick
butter
2
salt and pepper
dried chives for garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the onions and noodles and cook about 5 minutes more if you use larger noodles I use the very thin ones.

Drain the noodles and onions and add back to pan. Pour the milk, and cream in the pan and add the chicken stock. Warm through and add the butter. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Garnish with dried chives or fresh ones
