Stove Top

Ingredients

2 lb
ground beef
4 can(s)
pinto beans
28 oz
can crushed tomato
28 oz
can diced tomato
7 oz
can chopped green chilli's
2 tsp
ground cumin
3 Tbsp
chilli powder
2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
ground red pepper
1 Tbsp
valentina mexican hot sauce
2 Tbsp
dried onion flakes

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Cook/brown 2 Lbs.ground beef, season with seasoning salt and onion powder. When browned & cooked, drain off fat.Put in a large cook pot.Add 1 large can of crushed tomato's,1 large can of diced tomato's,1 7oz. can of chopped green chilli's,and all the spices.Add 4 cans of pinto beans...do not drain, the juice in the canned beans works as a thickening to your chilli.Just heat and stir on a low boil for 15 minutes, stirring often. This chilli is so easy, and good tasting.I recently tried the Valentina mexican hot sauce. It is fantastic! It comes in a huge bottle..and trust me,you'll find many uses for it because the flavor is awesome!I am very impressed with that sauce!I do not use raw onion. The flavor of my chilli just comes out better without cooked raw onion...but we do like raw onion on the finished chilli in our bowls, along with shredded cheddar cheese, and sometimes sour cream and dill pickle slices, with crakers!YUM.I absolutely love using my left over chilli the next day,as 3-way chilli;cooked speghetti, shredded cheddar cheese, corn chips and chilli...oh,and onions on top!Oh mercy me...you gotta try my chilli!...ps.I have heard adding cocoa powder to chilli makes it even better, and adds a rich brown color. So,next time I make this,I will add some.I will add my comments about that sometime soon.I will also put in photo's soon!
