In large pot combine first 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and simmer on low heat 30 minutes.
Whisk together the flour and butter and add to broth. Simmer another 10 minutes
Whisk egg yolks until pale. Add a little soup and whisk until incorporated. Stir into pot.
Add chicken and rice and heat through
