Darn close to Olive Gardens Pasta e Fagioli

I love Olive Gardens Pasta e Fagioli so I wanted to duplicate it. I have been working on doing just that for years and I finally (I think) did it. You be the judge.

This dish was one of my late Mother-in-law's favorites.

Ingredients

2 lb
ground beef
1 oz
olive or vegetable oil
1
onion, chopped
1 c
julienned carrots
1 c
celery, chopped
28 oz
diced tomatoes
8 oz
red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
2 Tbsp
beef bouillon
1 Tbsp
oregano leaves
2 Tbsp
parsley leaves
1/2 Tbsp
tabasco sause
13 oz
your favorite spaghetti sauce (i use newman's own sockarooni)
salt and pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
8 oz
small pasta

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown ground meat and chopped onion in oil.

Prepare and add the remaining ingredients to the browned meat/onion mixture. Bring to a boil, add pasta. Simmer for one hour.

Cooks note: adjust the amount of Tabasco to your taste.
