I have been making this ever since I tasted it at a friends house years ago. It's super easy and delicious. Even my picky kids eat it!

Ingredients

3/4 c
wild rice (raw)
1/2 lb
bacon, chopped into small pieces
1 small
onion, chopped
1 can(s)
cream of potato soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
2 can(s)
evaporated milk (13 oz cans)
1 c
shredded velveeta cheese

Step-By-Step

1Following package directions, cook wild rice for approximately 45 minutes.

2Saute bacon and onion in a stockpot until onion is soft and bacon is cooked through (I like my bacon a bit crunchy).

3Add soups, evaporated milk, cheese and wild rice to bacon and onion mixture and mix thoroughly. Heat to desired temperature. If necessary, add water for desired consistency.
