The Best Squash Casserole

After my squash is cooked & drained I run it thru my food processor because i don't like large, stringy pieces of squash. Don't get me wrong, I love squash, but slurping a stringy piece of squash isn't ladylike. :)

Ingredients

2 c
squash, cooked, drained & mashed;
2 c
cracker crumbs, or bread crumbs
2 c
x-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 medium
onion, diced
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted; or any cream soup of your choice
1/4 c
margarine or butter

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients. Pour into buttered casserole.
2Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown & bubbly
