Cream of Cauliflower & Roasted Pepper Pastina

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
diced onion
3 c
cauliflower, small florets
1 Tbsp
chicken bouillon granules
1 c
water
1 dash(es)
garlic powder
1/2 c
pastina
2 Tbsp
marinated rosted pepper finely chopped
3 slice
velveeta cheese
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 dash(es)
black pepper

Step-By-Step

1Sauté the onion in the butter in a sauce pan
2Add cauliflower and chicken bouillon granules
And bring to a boil for 3 minutes
3Add Pastina and reduce to a slight boil for 4 minutes
4Add Velveeta, cream and pepper
Cook at a simmer till the desired consistency
5For soup add ½ c milk or more if you wish for a thinner broth. I also add toasted bread cubes for a little crunch.
