| 2 c | boiling water |
| 3 Tbsp | butter |
| 1/4 c | all purpose flour |
| 2 tsp | instant chicken bouillon granules |
| dash(es) | black pepper |
| 2 c | milk or half and half |

Directions
In large suacepan cook broccoli in the boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain broccoli, reserving liquid.( Add additional water, if necessary, to make 1-1/2 cups liquid.)In same pan melt butter. Stir flour, bouillon granules and pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir 1 minute more.Stir in broccoli mixture; heat through.185 calories and 8 grams carb

I can see that soup on my table...!!
very soon.
I have the veggie..
but will use low salt chicken broth..
The boulion graniules are vry salty..for me..
.I am on a low salt diet...

I might even add a minced carrot...just for color.
.and they are good for ya!...LOL
