my grand daughter, Kaylee and made this chowder when she was around 8 years old.

Ingredients

1 lb
frankfurters, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 tsp
basil or tyme leaves crushed
2 Tbsp
butter or maragine
1 can(s)
11 oz. condensed split pea with ham
1 can(s)
10 3/4 oz. condensed cream of potato soup
1/2 can(s)
water
1 can(s)
about 8 oz. canned tomatoes, cut up
1 can(s)
about 8 oz. whole kernal corn, undrained

Directions Step-By-Step

in large saucepan brown frankfurters with basil in butter. add soups; gradually stir in water. add remaining ingredients heat through; stir ocasionaly.
