Some recipes just become part of your life. That’s the case with this one. I’ve been making Corn and Cheddar Cheese Chowder ever since I can remember.

Ingredients

2 c
potatoes, diced
1 c
carrot, sliced
1 c
celery, chopped
1/2 c
onion, chopped
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 can(s)
cream style corn
1 1/2 c
milk, non fat
1/2 c
cheddar or american cheese, shredded

Step-By-Step

1Combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion and seasonings in a pan.

Cover and simmer 10 minutes
2Add corn and pepper.

Cook 5 minutes more or until vegetables are cooked
3Add milk and cheese.

Stir until cheese melts and chowder is heated through.

DO NOT BOIL
4Serve hot
5Tip:
Ham, Cheese and Corn Chowder: add 1/2 cup cubed cooked ham.
