This is the chili that my mother madewhen I was a child. It is a good change of pace from the Cincinnati style chili that my family also likes.

1 lb
Ground Beef
1/2 c
chopped onion
1--46 oz can(s)
tomato juice
1--28 oz can(s)
diced tomatoes
1 Tbsp
chili powder, or to taste
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp
sugar
1/2 c
elbow macaroni

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown onion and ground beef, drain off grease.

Combine onion, ground beef, tomato juice, diced tomatoes, elbow macaroni. Add seasoning to taste.

Heat until macaroni is cooked. About 15 minutes.

Serve with shredded cheddar cheese and oyster crackers.
