I recently changed my chili recipe to this one and my husband announced that this was "the best" chili I had ever made.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
lean ground beef
1 medium
onion chopped
2 large
can diced tomatoes (1 1/2 cans of water)
1 large
can tomato paste
1 can(s)
original rotel tomatoes w/chilies
2 can(s)
dark red kidney beans undrained
1 can(s)
refried beans
1 tsp
cumin
1 1/2 tsp
garlic powder
3/4 bottle
mccormick mexican style chili powder (do not substitute)
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown ground beef and remove any fat.

Add the rest of the ingredients and cook stirring often until onion is done - about 40 minutes.

Serve with grated cheddar cheese and a dollop of sour cream!
