Okay, there we are....I've posted 5-6 gift in a jar/cup/can recipes over night.....Me thinks my gift in jar/cup/can gift ideas are complete for this year!!! Other than this one I've got up:

Creamy mushroom and wild rice soup in a jar
Coffee Cup Cake gift
Sweetheart Truffles in a jar
Black Forest Banana Bread in a jar
and Orange Slice Cake in a Can.

Even found a gift for my 9 year old niece and 7 yr old nephew's gifts this year. I bought each one of them a new journal, and found a cute gift in a jar idea to go along with the journals. Journal in a Jar!!! Decorate a jar, and fill it with pre-made journal prompts (the web site I found them at has like 12 sheets of pre-made journal prompts). Things like "Do you have any hobbies?", or "If you could live on any planet, which one and why". Idea is to pick one out of the jar each day (365 total in there) and tape it to the top (or paste) of the child's journal entry for the day. Before anythign else is written, they respond to the journal prompt. Since they are both getting big into writing their feelings down on paper, I thought this would give them a bit more privacy, and maybe make it a bit more fun for them both.

Colleen- You're very welcome! They also had one on there for Adult journal jars.

They provide Journal Jar Prompts that you can print out to fill your jar, or you can create your own! It's a really cool way I think, to give a personal gift that will inspire someone to write and share.
