Nothing like vegetable soup on a cold winter day! Adjust the amount of rice and barley that you add to get the consistency of soup that you want.

Ingredients

stew meat
1 can(s)
beef broth
1/2
small onion, chopped
1 pkg
frozen vegetables
1/2 c
rice, adjust amount to preference
1/2 c
barley, adjust amount to preference
1 can(s)
peeled chopped tomatoes
1 small
can tomato sauce
1 tsp
worchestire
1/4 tsp
thyme
salt & pepper to taste
parsley flakes
3-4 c
water

Step-By-Step

1Brown the stew meat in a little oil.
2Combine stew meat and all other ingredients in a large soup pot and cook on low for a minimum of an hour.
