Ingredients

1/2 lb
mushrooms, sliced and pieces
1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 Tbsp
beef base
1/2 Tbsp
kitchen bouquet
4 c
water
2 Tbsp
butter
1 large
onion, sliced

Step-By-Step

1In a skillet over medium high heat, cook the onions and the mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter or pan dripping (grease from meat you are going to put the gravy on) for 2 minutes or until tender.

2Add 2 cups of water and bring to a boil. When the water begin to boil, mix the beef base and stir.

3In a bowl, add 2 cups of hot water and stir flour into. Don't leave any flour clumps. Mix in the kitchen boutique

4Add the mixture in the bowl to the mixture in the skillet that's boiling. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook 4 minutes or more, or until it thickened whisking constantly.
