take 1/2 lb. ground turkey and cook till almost done,put in soup pot with 2 quarts water add 2Tbs. beef soup base,1 bag frozen soup vegtables,1/2tbs.basil,1/2tbs.parsly and sea salt,ground pepper to taste. Bring to a boil then simmer 1 hour. Now add 1/2 cup of instant barley cook until the barley is done. This is very good and hardy and a cold winters day.
