Oven Baked Bean Soup

Ingredients

1 lb
great northern beans
3 qt
water
1 large
diced onion
2 Tbsp
kosher salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 lb
fully cooked ham, diced

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all ingredients in an oven proof dutch oven. Bake at 350 for 6 hours.

If the mixture is not thick enough just simmer on stove top and it will thicken up.

That picture is so pretty that it made me hungry for bean soup. It is in the oven as I am typing this. This looks like a good, basic recipe. I will be adding garlic, and probably a can of stewed tomatoes an hour or so before the soup is done. I can hardly wait! Thanks for posting this, Judy.
