chickpeas (boiled and skin removed)

1Boil chickpeas and have their skins removed. (You can skip this step if you are using canned chickpeas).
2Heat oil in a wok over medium heat. When hot add chopped onions and saute them until golden brown.(Amount of oil depends on amount of chickpeas being used as well as your diet preference).
3Add in chickpeas and stir. Next add in turmeric powder, chilli powder and brown sugar and stir till chickpeas are well coated. (Amount of chilli powder and brown sugar depends on your preference).
4Garnish with a few curry leaves. (Optional)
