I decided to make pizza and this dough recipe was easy and tasted great, handled like a dream during rolling. Makes enough for one 10-12 in thick crust or 2-10 inch thin crust pizza

Ingredients

2 1/4 tsp
yeast
1 c
water
2 1/4 to 2 3/4 all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
garlic powder (optional)
olive oil

Step-By-Step

1Mix yeast and warm water let sit 10 minutes
2Mix flour, salt, and garlic powder
3add flour mixture to proofed yeast mixture
4Knead 10 minutes or until smooth
coat with olive oil
5place in a bowl that has been oiled with olive oil
6Let rise for 1-1 1/2 hours, punch down and roll out dough place on pizza pan add your favorite sauce and toppings, bake at 400 degrees 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown and cheese has melted.
