Ingredients

1 c coconut, flaked, sweetened
6 c popcorn, popped
1 Tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp sugar
1 pinch salt
1 dash(es) nutmeg
1 c dried banana chips
Pinched by Shimmerrzz, and 60 more.
Cooked to Perfection

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Spread coconut in 13" x 9" baking pan, breaking up any clumps as needed. Bake 10 minutes or until edges of coconut begin to brown.

In small bowl combine, sugar, salt & nutmeg.

Spread popcorn over coconut & sprinkle with butter; toss. Sprinkle popcorn mixture with spice mixture; toss. Bake 5 minutes longer & toss with banana chips.

Serve immediately or cool & store in airtight container.

That's right!!! Even though we are in a hugh drug area....between pot, meth & still possibly moonshine. I'd still like to try moonshine though....

Kimmmi, I thought you lived in the "boonies"...so I'm surprised you're in a high drug area. I guess its everywhere. Having almost 22 years of recovery from drug addiction, I know its everywhere. But when I looked at every one of your 4th of July Bash, drugs never once crossed my mind.

If you decide to try the moonshine, have someone test it out before you. I think I heard you can go blind or die from that stuff. And this precaution comes from a lady who used to stick needles in her arms to inject street drugs... I've come a long way baby! When I think of moonshine, I think of the movie with Sissy Spacek starring as Loretta Lynn. Do you remember the scene when she's on air talking about eating baloney sandwiches & getting horn?

Well....the people at the party...no. The one's that never showed up...yes. Just because it's in the area, doesn't mean everyone does it (basically just the real locals).

Yes, I think I saw that, but not sure....
