Spicy Crackers

Patty Clare Recipe

By Patty Clare Lolypop811

Prep Time:

These are soooo easy and soooo good. I get requests for them all the time. I make them atleast once a week. They go really good with chicken salad, spinach dip, or just by themselves.

1 box
Zesta Saltine Crackers
1 c
Canola Oil (must be Canola Oil)
1 pkg
Ranch Seasoning Mix
2 Tbsp
crushed red pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Place 1 box ZESTA saltine crackers in a large bowl with a sealable lid.
In a separate bowl whisk together the remaining ingredients.
Drizzle mixture over crackers. Seal lid on bowl and turn bowl over and over for about 10 minutes to make sure all crackers are coated. Crackers are much better if they are allowed to set for 1 day. This allows them to absorb all of the oil and flavoring.

I've made these before, using this recipe, but always used little round oyster crackers. They make a really good snack.

Had a request from my Mom for these. She's heard of them but never tried them. She says she just can't understand what all the talk is about. She's in for a treat. I haven't made them in quite some time..so, I too am in for a treat! Forgot the ingredient measurements, thanks for posting the recipe! YUM!

To: Cheryl Clair irishfancy, just looked at my cracker box and it said 5 crackers per serving; box serves 30, so I would guess there are about 150 crackers in 1 lb box, or 454g hope this helps.
