Shelley's Story

This is my mother's version of Pimiento Cheese Spread. Just serve with your favorite crackers. This can also be frozen ahead of time then thawed in the fridge the day before a holiday or picnic/cookout.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
I would never thought that adding sugar to pimento cheese would be so good! This one will really be a hit at your next party or tailgate.

Ingredients

1 lb
velveeta cheese
1 lb
medium cheddar cheese
1 lb
sharp cheddar cheese
1 pt
miracle whip salad dressing
8 oz
pimento, drained and chopped
3 Tbsp
sugar
***
salt and pepper to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Grate cheeses or cut into small pieces. Allow to soften at room temperature.
2
Combine all ingredients and blend by using mixer, blender or food processor. (It may be necessary to divide ingredients into two batches unless you have a very large mixing container.)
3
Store leftovers in fridge. Can be frozen. Yields: 2 quarts.

I agree with Tami and Martha.....we don't need rude comments of JAP.
Constructive criticism.......isn't rude comments, so please be nice when you criticize.
(criticism or advice that is "useful and intended to help or improve something", often with an offer of possible solutions is more like it).

I am a diabetic also and I can stand to have a bit of sugar every now and then......you just have to decide where you want to cut it out.
It's not rocket science, everyone knows how to leave it out of the recipes that they don't want it in, you don't have to bad mouth a recipe to make your point.

Agree totally with you Tami; I do not want anyone to tell me how to eat and I will not tell you how to eat.

Why is everyone so negative about the sugar!!! Lighten up people.. Keep your rude comments to yourself. If you don't like the recipe don't make it. Simple as that....
