I thought up this recipe while standing behind a man at a wedding appetizer table. I watched him scoop a Mexican dip into the Tostito Scoops and fill his plate. After playing around with it a bit, I came up with this. My friends and family love it.

Ingredients For tasty taco bites

  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 jar
    salsa (i use chichi's garden salsa)
  • 1 pkg
    shredded mexican cheese
  • sour cream
  • tostito scoops

How To Make tasty taco bites

    Prepare Hamburg with taco seasoning mix according to package directions. Once done, add the jar of salsa, mix well over heat for just a minute. Spoon mixture into scoop chips, arranged on a (microwave safe) serving dish. Top with shredded cheese. Pop in microwave for about 15 to 20 seconds, or until cheese melts (not too long or the chips will get soggy). Next top with a little dab of sour cream and serve. Enjoy! Tip - For the picky kids, I don't add the salsa or the sour cream.
