Whole Sweet Onions with Sweet Pea Dressing

- 4 medium to large sweet vidalia or maui onions, peeled and cored
- 1 bo. frozen sweet peas, 10 oz
- 1/2 to 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. sugar
- fresh herbs for garnish
1Drop onions into boiling water for 5 minutes or til as tender as desired. Lift onions from water and arrange on platter.
2Drop peas into same water and cook til brightly colored and as tender as desired. Drain well.
3In bowl, mix sour cream with sugar to taste. Gently fold in peas. Fill onions with sweet pea dressing and garnish with fresh herbs of your choice. Serves 4
