W D'S Orange Sauced Beets
Place in boiling water and boil for up to 60 minutes or until tender when pierced all the way through with a sharp knife.
Drain and plunge into cold water until cooled.
Rub beets between your hands to remove the husk. Chop into bite sized cubes.
Heat over medium heat until sauce comes to a boil and thickens.
Turn down heat a swirl in butter.
Add beets to sauce and cook until well coated and hot.
"This also works well for carrots. I haven't tried it with any other vegies."
