texas favorite steak mushrooms
This is from my cousin in Dallas and he says it's a serious favorite in his part of the country and a regular when the steaks are grilling. His wife, Monette, backs his up on this and says that they go through a lot of mushrooms in the summer. It's a knock off of the Texas Roadhouse Restaurants mushrooms.

Ingredients
- MUSHROOM SEASONING:
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 3 tablespoons onion salt
- 1/2 cup granulated garlic
- TO COOK MUSHROOMS:
- 1/4 pound butter
- 2 1/2 pounds halved button mushrooms
- 3/4 cup water
How To Make texas favorite steak mushrooms

Step 1Melt butter over high heat. Add mushrooms, stir to coat in the butter.

Step 2Add 2 tablespoons of mushroom seasoning, coat all mushrooms evenly. Cook over high heat until all water has cooked out of mushrooms (8-10 minutes).

Step 3Reduce heat to medium, and sear mushrooms for about 7 more minutes. Add water and cook over high heat for about 1 minute.

Step 4Serve over your favorite steak or as a side and enjoy!
