RIGHT FROM THE MANY FAAMILY OWNED FARMS UP CLOSE TO SPOKANE,MT. ONLY A 1/2 HOUR FROM HOME.
HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS FRESH CARROT RECIPE.
THIS PAINTING I DID LAST SAT.
It REMINDS ME OF GREEN BLUFF,WA.

Ingredients

1 lb
fresh carrots
1/2 c
water
1 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
honey
1/4 c
brown sugar
1/2 tsp
grated nutmeg
1 tsp
ground cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

WASH , pare, and cut up carrots....y0ur choice hunks, slices, or thisk sticks.
Place carrots in a saucepan, bring to a boil,
cover and cook 3-4 minutes.
You will want them a little firm,
not soft and mushy.
Test with a fork .

Drain water from pan.
Add butter and simmer for 2-3 minutes,to coat.
Add honey, brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Mix and continue cooking,on low,stirring frequently.
For about 3 minutes. Till firm tender.

Serve when ready.
