Sugar Snap Peas with Oregano or Basil

Just something that I like in the golden warm weather. Sometimes I squeeze a little lemon juice on them too.

Ingredients

1 lb
sugar snap peas with the strings removed
coarse salt to taste
1/2 Tbsp
butter
1 Tbsp
fresh oregano or basil, coarsely chopped, substitute 1/4 teaspoon dried

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large skillet, combine snap peas and 1 cup of water. Season with salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high. Cook until water has evaporated, 3 to 4 minutes.

Add butter, and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until snap peas are crisp-tender, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in your herb of choice.
