Spicy Carrots

Even my husband, who hates cooked carrots asks me to make these often. I've also thrown in 6-8 sliced white mushrooms.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
brown sugar
1/4 c
butter
5 large
carrots, peeled and cut into disks
1 clove
garlic (largest one)
3-4 dash(es)
tabasco sauce
1 1/2 tsp
emeril's essence (i don't actually measure this one, i go by taste)
1/2 medium
red onion

Step-By-Step

1Melt butter with brown sugar and garlic.
2Add carrots, cover and cook on low 5-8 minutes
3Add onion. Cook until moisture disappears or when the carrots are crisp-tender.
