1Peel rutabagas,cut into bite size pieces. Melt butter in saucepan with rutabagas, onions,salt and pepper to taste. Stir until vegetables are well coated with butter. Add enough broth to cover. Cover pan,cook until vegetables are tender. Remove cover turn heat down and cook,shaking pan until rutabagas are slightly caramelized. May need to add more butter.
