Peas and Mushrooms

- small onion, chopped (optional)
- cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp
- 1 pkg
- (10 ounces) frozen green peas, thawed
- 1 c
- sliced fresh mushrooms or jar sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp
- pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp
1Cook peas according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2In a skillet, saute, mushrooms, onion and garlic in butter until tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the peas, then season with sugar, salt and pepper.
Cover, and reduce heat to low, and cook just until heated through.
