GREEN BEANS CREOLE

TERRI OPGENORTH

By

My Mom used to make this often when I was growing up. It is great as a side dish with anything; but when I was newly married and on a tight budget, I made it with a pound of bacon and doubled the beans for a main dish.
We still make it today but the recipe has changed a bit to use fresh ingredients from the garden. I posted the original...feel free to change it up!
