Green Bean Casserole (No Mushrooms)

I am allergic to mushrooms, so I have to alter this recipe a little bit. Instead of cream of mushroom soup, I use cream of potato. I add a step and heat it with cooked bacon.

Ingredients

2 can(s)
cream of potato soup
6 slice
thick cut bacon
1 c
milk
2 tsp
soy sauce
8 c
cooked green beans
2 2/3 c
french fried onions

Step-By-Step

1Cook bacon in skillet until firm. Drain on paper towels, and crumble.

2Heat soup in a medium saucepan with bacon, adding milk gradually.

3Stir soup mixture, soy sauce, black pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in a 3-quart casserole.

4Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining onions.

5Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown
