Ingredients For fried cream corn w/ bacon

  • 6 slice
    bacon, cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 12 ears
    corn on the cob, fresh, husks & silk removed
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt & pepper
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream

How To Make fried cream corn w/ bacon

    Place a bundt cake pan onto a baking sheet. Place pointy end of cobs into center & cut kernels off of cob. Repeat with all cobs.

    In a large skillet over medium high heat, cook bacon pieces until crisp. Remove bacon & add butter to the bacon grease. Add corn. Fry for 2 minutes; turn heat down to medium, cook 5 minutes.

    Reduce heat again & let simmer 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper & cream; let cook 5 more minutes.
