Creamy Cheese & Potatoes

I wrote this recipe simply because I bought a new slicer and wanted to try it out. I has plenty of potatoes on hand, so this recipe was born. I turned out great. My family loved it and we have had it several times since then. Oh yeah, the slicer worked great too!

Ingredients

3 medium
potatoes, any variety (except sweet potatoes)
1/4 tsp
salt
1 pinch
black pepper
1/4 tsp
paprika
1/2 tsp
cilantro, dried
2 c
milk
1 c
grated chedder cheese

Step-By-Step

1Slice the potatoes thin and add to a cool skillet.
2Add milk, salt, pepper, paprika and cilantro. Bring to a boil.
3Simmer until the potatoes are soft, adding more milk if needed.
4Added grated cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and and well mixed. (NOTE: You can add more cheese if you really want it cheesy.)
5Remove from heat and let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
