Cheezy Carrot Casserole

Ingredients

1 c
milk
1 Tbsp
cornstarch
2 Tbsp
butter
1
scant tsp grated onion
1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
velveeta cheese, cut up
2 lb
carrots (about 3-1/2 cups)
1 tsp
celery seed
1 c
buttered bread crumbs

Step-By-Step

1Peel, dice and boil carrots until tender. Drain
2Add cornstarch, onion and salt to milk and bring to a boil, adding butter and stirring until thickened and smooth. Stir in cheese until melted.
3Alternate layers of carrots, celery seed and sauce in greased casserole dish.
4Top with bread crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
