When I was in Ireland over
Thanksgiving 2011, my friend made these for our "American Thanksgiving Feast".

Ingredients

2 pkg
brussel sprouts, frozen
1 small
onion, chopped
6 slice
bacon diced (or streaky rashers)

Step-By-Step

1Boil the brussel sprouts in water until fork tender.
2Meanwhile, saute the bacon (known as streaky rashers in Ireland) and onion in a skillet.
3When brussel sprouts are tender, drain well and dump into the pan with the onions & bacon. Saute a bit and serve.

This recipe is totally flexible. Add more or less of the ingredients to suite your tastes.
